I cast on and have been working on my Quiet Day shawl by Minna Sorvala (host of the Frostbites podcast) using yarn from Miss Click Clack (Merri Creek Sock in the colours Rufus and Sauterne), Knit Picks (Stroll in the colour Jack Rabbit Heather) and Skein (Top Draw Sock in the colour Citrine).
Three new skeins from Circus Tonic Handmade on the Revelry Sock base in the colours: Masked Owl, Grey Hawk and Major Mitchell Cockatoo.
Episode 65 : Once upon a sock (24 February 2017)
Finished object: I completed a pair of socks that I named Once upon a sock, made from handspun I made with merino/nylon fibre from Wren & Ollie and Novita Nalle yarn for the toes, heels and cuffs.
I received my HiyaHiya interchangeables cable stoppers and cable connectors that I ordered from A Chronic Yarnoholic.
As part of a swap, I received lovely squishy yarns from Yarn Cafe Creations - a 100g skein of Ocean Mist and a 25g mini of Duckling on the Fluffy sock 75% merino/25% nylon base. The dyer, Christy, is one half of the wonderful The Girls in the Yarn Cafe podcast.

I've made progress on my Scrappy sock head hat with Miss Click Clack's Centre Place Single in the Melbourne Black colourway striped with scrap yarns, and it's stored in my cute project bag from Stitch Pixie Bags. I'm using an Addi 40cm (16") 2.5mm circular needle.
I'm making good progress on my Taskutakki cardigan by Veera Välimäki, using Miss Click Clack's Nightman's Highway in the Junkyard Dog colourway.
I cast on new socks using Online sock yarn which is stored in my Girl Sew Sheepy project bag. I also mentioned the wonderful new podcast from Girl Sew Sheepy.

I knit a mini sock with a 24 stitch cast on from Regia sock yarn with a Fish Lips Kiss Heel.
I finished my Scrappy socks knit with a 9" circular HiyaHiya needle.

At the Millthorpe Markets I got a sample pack of Alpaca yarns locally spun from Adagio Mills and took a bit of video of the Easy Purlers knitting needles in action which are locally designed needles to help new knitters get familiar with knitting.
Non-knitting related purchases at the Millthorpe Markets were a little bowl from Hillgrove Pottery and a wind spinner from Artwerx Australia.
Episode 59 : I'm going upside down (28 November 2016)
I've split for the sleeves on my Taskutakki cardigan by Veera Välimäki, using Miss Click Clack's Nightman's Highway in the Junkyard Dog colourway.
I bought Otto Neon highlighter tape from Officeworks but it's not ideal for pattern marking on paper because it's a bit too sticky, however it should work okay if you put a paper pattern in a plastic sleeve and attach the tape to the sleeve.
I ordered KnitPro Nova 10cm (4") 2.25mm (US 1) double point needles and a HiyaHiya 23cm (9") 2.25mm (US 1) small circular needle from Woolstack.
I ordered a skein of Drover sock fingering weight 75% superwash wool/25% nylon in the colourway Sully from the Colagirl CollectiveAu Etsy shop.

I cast on a pair of fingerless mittens using RoseHipIsland yarn in the Oz sock base and "Smarties in the sea" colourway.

A little spinning on some Ashford fibre in the Cinnamon colourway.
A bit of long draw practice with some local alpaca fibre.
