My Little Bobbins Knits Christmas Eve cast on was the Gladys socks, a free pattern by General Hogbuffer. I'm knitting them in Daydream Yarns Town sock (75% merino, 25% nylon) colourway: Walking on Sunshine. My project is stored in a bag by Shop Louleigh.
Three fibre braids from Skein: Vintage Christmas 80% superwash merino/20% nylon; Thunderstorm 80% superwash merino/20% nylon; Birthday Cake 50% silk/50% merino. I'm working on a new sock design using Circus Tonic Handmade's Revelry Sock in the Major Mitchell Cockatoo colourway.
And I'm making up a tortoise using 4 Seasons yarn from Spotlight.
Acquisitions: From Trysten of The Girls in the Yarn Cafe podcast fame and dyer behind Dragon Hoard Yarn I received a few skeins in a swap: Trelawney on the Fluffy Sock base, and Molly Weasley on the Dragon Scales base. I also picked up a ChiaGoo Red Lace Circular 40" 2.25mm needle from Blayney Sew N More, and a ball of Wendy Happy 75% Bamboo/25% Nylon yarn from The Wool Room in Young and my mum picked up crochet hooks from Woolshed in Manuka, ACT.

Acquisitions: From Miss Click Clack I bought a skein of City Kitty on Merri Creek Sock, two skeins of Plumbum on Shark Bay Lace (for a Featherweight Cardigan by Hannah Fettig), and a sweater quantity of Butternut Snap on Livingston Merino.
Other chatter: I spoke a bit about pilling that I've been noticing on my Free Spirit jumper and Quiet Day shawl in the sections where I used Knit Picks Stroll yarn. I also showed off a sample card that I received from Millpost Merino, a sheep farm and yarn business from Bungendore, NSW, Australia.
