Episode 55 : Country creatures (24 October 2016)

Works in progress:
- I'm working on my Echoes from Karelia socks with stash yarns.
- I've started a new vanilla sock with Novita Nalle yarn for travel knitting.
- I did a mini spin with White Finn Tops from Kathys Fibres and began a bigger spin with Ashford fibre 80% Merino / 20% Silk in the Cinnamon colourway.
Chatter: I showed off colourwork socks that my mum has been knitting and a cowl.
Acquistions from the Australian National Field Days:
- Beautiful cards with prints of sheep and cow art by Tracey Mackie.
- Two balls of Adagio Mills 4 ply alpaca yarn in the Weathered Wood colourway.
- Alpaca tops from Dural Alpaca Park.
- Mohair fibre and Corriedale fibre from a few lovely spinners that I got chatting to.

Finished object: I finished my Rose City Rollers socks (free pattern on Ravelry by Mara Catherine Bryner) from Hot Socks Cotton Stretch sockenwolle

- I'm working on my Echoes from Karelia socks with stash yarns.
- I've made a muddle of my Taskutakki cardigan by Veera Välimäki. It's a pattern from the book Lankaleikki (English translation available: Color Wheel Knits) and I'm using Miss Click Clack's Nightman's Highway in the Junkyard Dog colourway.
- And I've added a few squares to my sock yarn blanket including a mini of Dingo Dye Works Fair Dinkum yarn in the Wallaroo colourway.
Chatter: I also showed off colourwork socks that my mum has been knitting.

- I've started the second sock to knit two at a time on my Echoes from Karelia socks with stash yarns.
